Chicotito Groove is Los Músicos de José’s second album, lovingly dedicated to all our girlfriends, and all of yours... It probably leans more towards rock than the first album, yet it is clear that beyond any musical genre it may encompass, groove is still this band’s driving force and core, that which makes us move our feet, our guts and both of our brain’s hemispheres.
It comprises 11 tracks, six of them produced at Topetitud (Molotov’s Tito and Paco’s studio) by Milo Froideval, three more at Fresno by Edi Kistler and Ro Velázquez (Liquits), and two produced by LMDJ themselves and recorded by Alejandro Colinas. It was mastered in New York by Oscar Zambrano at Zampol Productions.
